 We have a hall with stage which has a dressing room to the rear, a kitchen with servery to the main hall and a smaller side room.

The Kitchen is equipped with a modern Gas Range Cooker, Microwave oven and Fridge Freezer. Two electric kettles are provided but no kitchen cooking utensils. There are some plates, cups, saucers and cutlery.

The Foyer leads into the hall.

There are 10 x 6ft long tables and 5 x 3ft square tables, plus 80 folding chairs on racks and a further 40 available upon request. In Theatre style the capacity is 120 maximum. The hall can accomodate around 80 seated at tables

There are separate toilets for Gents, Ladies and Accesability.

The heaters are gas powered and are switched on by hall users when they arrive, by way of switches near the door. They do not operate during the summer months.

Free Wifi. Unlimited Free Wifi is provided. This has upload speed of up to 18Mbps, suitable for live streaming. Downloads speed is arround 60Mbps.

The rear car park can take up to 10 cars and there is one disabilty priority parking space at the front.

Licensing: The hall is licenced under PRS and PPL for Music for the playing of copywrite music and playing of recorded muisc.
The hall is licensed under the Premises Act for various entertainments. Details from the hall bookings manager. The hall is not licensed for the sale of Alcohol. Recent Inprovements.

During the summer of 2022, insulation has been added to the roof. Previously the hall suffered from heat loss via the roof and with the new insulation, we will expect the hall to be more easily heated, and use less energy. This in turn will we won't have to increase the hire rates so much.

Performing Arts and Dance Groups:

LAR Performing Arts offer youth group classes in Drama, Musical Theatre and Performing Arts. All students have the opportunity to take optional LAMDA Exams (these count towards UCAS points) and we have two big Shows a year for family and friends, that all students can be a part of. 
We offer 1-2-1 lessons for singing and drama and students can work towards Trinity Rock & Pop or Classical Singing exams as well as LAMDA.
We have an auditioned class (LAR Elite) for those who want to take their performing to the next level. We also have our own in house agency - LAR Talent Agency - representing LAR students for TV, Film, Commercials and Theatre / Musical Theatre work. We currently have students performing in West End shows.

Offering classes for all abilities in Digswell, Hertfordshire, in a variety of dance styles using the IDTA syllabus for pupils aged 2 years upwards. Classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Musical Theatre.
